This is our last day in Beaufort. Tomorrow, we head back up the ICW to Norfolk, where we hope there's mail waiting for us. Roy kind of wanted to go out around Cape Hatteras, but I talked him into the ICW. I'm in no mood for the Graveyard of the Atlantic.
Roy cleaned up the spare starter, which had gotten soaked in salt water following the grounding. I borrowed the museum car and went to the grocery store. After lunch, we attended a rather disappointing slide show at the museum on the Pea Island Life-Saving Station.
Tried to enter the waypoints and routes for our trip to Norfolk, but I kept making mistakes and finally gave up.
We're hoping this wind will die down or change direction. It's blowing us into the dock.
